Best Pipedrive alternatives in 2026.

Pipedrive runs €14 to €79 a seat annually and €24 to €99 monthly, the same numerals in dollars since it prices regionally, and ships an official MCP server on every plan — so an agent can already drive your pipeline. What nobody prints is the meter behind it. Here is the field — Pipedrive, monday CRM, Freshsales, Salesflare, Zoho, Attio, Twenty, EspoCRM, Munin — with every price read off the vendor's own page.

Macro close crop on a pale travertine console: five identical small charcoal ceramic boxes in a row beside one much larger empty charcoal tray big enough to hold all five, with hands at the frame edge lifting the nearest box toward it.
Five of them. And the one they all fit inside.

Pipedrive is the CRM people buy when they want a pipeline and nothing else. Deals as cards, stages as columns, a rep who understands it before lunch. That focus is the whole product and it is a real achievement — most of this category drowns the pipeline in modules nobody opens. Nobody leaves Pipedrive because the pipeline is bad. They leave when they notice how much of the customer relationship never makes it into the pipeline at all.

Why do people look for a Pipedrive alternative?

Three reasons, and only one of them is price. The seat bill grows with headcount even when the work is automated. The pipeline holds deals but not the support thread, the help-centre article, or the marketing email that actually moved the deal. And the add-ons — LeadBooster, Projects, Campaigns, Web Visitors, Smart Docs — are priced separately, so the plan you compared is rarely the plan you end up on.

None of those is a complaint about pipeline management. They are complaints about the shape of the thing around it. If your whole job is deals in stages, Pipedrive is a good answer and this article will not talk you out of it.

What does Pipedrive cost in 2026?

Four published tiers. Billed annually they are Lite 14, Growth 39, Premium 59, and Ultimate 79 per seat per month. Billed monthly the same tiers are 24, 49, 79, and 99. There is a 14-day free trial, no free tier, and prices are quoted exclusive of VAT.

A note on the currency, because it trips up comparison tables. Pipedrive publishes the same numerals in dollars and euros and renders whichever matches your region — the page read €14 / €39 / €59 / €79 when checked from the EU on 2 September 2026, and $14 / $39 / $59 / $79 from the US. The number is the same; the currency is whichever you will be billed in. Any table that converts one into the other is inventing a figure.

Watch the plan names too. Pipedrive reorganised the lineup, and a large number of 2026 listicles still quote Essential, Advanced, Professional, Power, and Enterprise at 14 / 29 / 59 / 69 / 99. That was the old sheet, and the trap is that its top tier and the new monthly Ultimate are both 99 — so a stale table can look like it agrees with the live page while describing a plan that no longer exists. Check the live page rather than an aggregator, including when the aggregator is us.

The add-ons are published, which is more than most vendors manage, and they are where the real bill forms:

  • LeadBooster from €32.50
  • Smart Docs from €32.50
  • Web Visitors from €41
  • Projects from €16
  • Campaigns from €13.33

Stack LeadBooster and Smart Docs onto a Growth seat and you are at €104 a seat a month — above Ultimate, for a plan that started at €39.

Does Pipedrive have an MCP server, and what does it cost to use?

Yes, and it is a good one. Pipedrive ships a first-party Model Context Protocol server available to all customers on every plan, connected through OAuth rather than a pasted API key. Your assistant sees only what your Pipedrive user is permitted to see, and every action lands in the change log. There are setup guides for ChatGPT and Claude, and any client supporting custom MCP connections can use the server URL.

So "can an AI agent run my CRM?" is settled for Pipedrive, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something. Credit where it is due: a first-party, permission-scoped, audited MCP server on the entry plan is ahead of most of this category, and it is the right way to build one.

The part worth reading twice is the meter. Pipedrive's MCP page says usage "is subject to token limits based on your plan" and that additional tokens can be purchased, but it does not print the allowance. The published number lives in the developer documentation, where the daily API token budget — which covers traffic authenticated by API tokens or OAuth tokens, the same door MCP comes through — is calculated as 30,000 base tokens × plan multiplier × seats, with multipliers of 1 on Lite, 2 on Growth, 5 on Premium and 7 on Ultimate. The budget is shared across the whole account, resets at midnight in the server's timezone, and returns 429 once spent.

Tokens are charged by weight, not by call. Pipedrive's published costs are 2 to read one record, 20 to read a list, 10 to update one, and 40 to run a search.

  • Lite30,000 tokens a day for one seat. About 750 searches, or 1,500 list reads, shared across every integration you have connected.
  • Growth60,000 a day for one seat, and the first tier where 250,000-token top-ups can be bought.
  • Premium150,000 a day for one seat.
  • Ultimate210,000 a day for one seat.
Every serious CRM now has an MCP endpoint. The comparison has moved to what sits behind it — and behind most of them is still one table of deals.

None of that is unreasonable, and a rate limit is not a bill — Pipedrive is protecting a shared platform, and a sales rep asking three questions a day will never see the ceiling. It matters because of which questions are expensive. A tidy lookup costs 2. "Summarise every stalled deal this quarter and tell me which ones went quiet after the support ticket" is a search plus a list plus a read per deal, and that second kind of question is the reason you connected an agent in the first place. On a one-seat Lite account it is also the kind of question you can ask a few hundred times a day before the account stops answering.

Budget for it before you build a routine on top of it, and note that the ceiling scales with seats — which means the cheapest way to give your agent more room is to hire someone.

What are the best Pipedrive alternatives in 2026?

monday CRM is the pipeline inside a wider work platform. Freshsales is the cheapest credible entry. Zoho CRM is the value pick and has a free edition for three users. Attio is the best-looking modern CRM and the one to beat on data modelling. HubSpot is the answer if you want sales, marketing, and service from one vendor with a support number. Salesflare fills the record from your inbox. Twenty is the open-source sales pipeline. EspoCRM and SuiteCRM are the older, deeper open-source options. Munin is the pick when the problem is not the pipeline but everything the pipeline is not connected to.

Nine of those replace Pipedrive. One replaces the reason you have four of them.

Ranked by who should actually pick them: take monday CRM if the CRM is one of several things your team runs on the same boards; Freshsales if the deciding factor is the entry price; Zoho if the deciding factor is price across a whole suite and you can live inside one vendor; Attio if your data model is genuinely unusual and you want the nicest surface in the category, compared on its own here; HubSpot if you need marketing automation and a phone number to call, and are prepared for the way its bill assembles; Salesflare if the complaint is data entry rather than pipeline shape; Twenty if you want a pipeline you can host yourself; Munin if the deal is only one of four places your customer already lives.

Is monday CRM a good Pipedrive alternative?

Yes, if you want the pipeline inside a wider work platform. monday CRM reads €12 per seat per month on Basic billed annually, €17 on Standard and €28 on Pro, with Ultimate quoted by sales — checked on monday's own pricing page on 7 September 2026, exclusive of tax and set by your billing country. Every paid plan starts at three seats, and there is no free tier.

The number to read before you compare seat prices is the record ceiling, because it is where monday's cheap tier stops being cheap. Basic caps you at 1,000 active contacts and deals, one custom dashboard and five columns per board. Standard raises that to 10,000 records, five dashboards and 250 automations a month; Pro to 100,000 records and 25,000 automations. Pipedrive does not cap records that way, so €12 and €14 are not buying you the same thing.

What you get in exchange is real, and it is the reason monday belongs on this list rather than the reason it doesn't: the same boards that run your pipeline also run projects, onboarding and marketing, so the CRM is one use of a platform the whole company can live in. Its MCP server is preinstalled on every account, authorised per user over OAuth, and scoped to exactly what that user can already see in monday — which is the right way to build one, and the same posture Pipedrive took.

Is Freshsales a good Pipedrive alternative?

Yes, and it is the cheapest credible entry in this comparison. Freshworks publishes three Freshsales tiers on its own pricing page: Growth at €9 per user per month billed annually, Pro at €39 and Enterprise at €59, with a 21-day trial and no free tier listed. Two add-ons sit on top of every tier — branded documents at €19 per user per month, and a Freddy AI Agent billed at €45 per 100 sessions.

That last figure is the one to hold onto, because it is Pipedrive's token budget wearing different clothes: the AI is metered per session rather than included in the seat. Price the sessions you actually expect, not the seat.

The agent story has a plan gate on it too, and it is worth checking before you buy on the strength of it. Freshworks' MCP server is a good implementation — it connects Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Microsoft Copilot Studio and VS Code, it paginates large results rather than truncating them, and it introduces no second identity system, inheriting whatever the authenticated user is already permitted to do. But as Freshworks documents it, the integration is in beta through an Early Access Program, for selected customers on the Enterprise plan, authenticated by API key rather than OAuth, and capped during early access at 100 tool calls a minute and 5,000 actions a month — with a note that the limits may change and may carry charges once it is generally available. A €9 seat and an agent-driven CRM are, for now, two different purchases.

What about Salesflare?

Salesflare is the pick if the complaint is data entry rather than pipeline shape. It builds the sales record out of your inbox — contacts, company details, meetings and calls captured from email and signatures rather than typed in — and prices at $29 per user per month on Growth, $49 on Pro and $99 on Enterprise, which carries a five-user minimum. There is a 30-day trial and no free tier.

It is also unusually direct about limits, which in this category deserves saying out loud: Salesflare publishes no caps on contacts, users, custom fields, pipelines or tracked emails, and says so on the pricing page. The one metered resource is lead credits — 5 a month on Growth, 100 on Pro, 250 on Enterprise, with 250 more for $39 — and it ships a first-party MCP server at mcp.salesflare.com.

It is a smaller product than the rest of this list, deliberately: a B2B sales CRM that automates the sales half of the record and leaves the rest alone. If the customer genuinely lives only in sales, that is a clean fit and you should buy it.

  • PDPipedrive: first-party MCP on every plan, over OAuth. The allowance is the account's daily API token budget — 30,000 × plan multiplier × seats — where a search costs 40 tokens.
  • FWFreshworks: MCP in beta through an Early Access Program on the Enterprise plan, API-key authenticated, capped at 100 tool calls a minute and 5,000 actions a month during early access.
  • MNmonday: MCP preinstalled on every account, authorised per user over OAuth and scoped to that user's own access. No separate MCP allowance published.
  • SFSalesflare: first-party MCP server at mcp.salesflare.com. The metered resource is lead credits, not tool calls.
  • MUMunin: 5,000 MCP calls a month on Cloud Free at €0. Self-hosted there is no counter, because the endpoint is how you operate the product rather than an allowance drawn against it.

Which Pipedrive alternative is cheapest?

Freshsales at €9 a user for the lowest published seat, Zoho CRM for the best free tier, and Twenty or Munin for self-hosted. Zoho's free edition covers three users forever with leads, deals, workflows, reports and a mobile app, and every paid tier undercuts the equivalent Pipedrive plan. Twenty and Munin both self-host for the price of a VPS instead of a seat bill.

Zoho's paid editions read 14 / 23 / 40 / 52 per user per month for Standard, Professional, Enterprise and Ultimate — checked in EUR on 2 September 2026, and, like Pipedrive, genuinely regional rather than converted, so read the list in the currency you will be billed in. The number to hold against a stacked Pipedrive plan is not Standard, though. It is Zoho CRM Plus at €20 per user per month billed annually, which bundles sales, marketing, help desk, live chat, projects, surveys and analytics — the things Pipedrive charges for as add-ons. Zoho CRM Plus Enterprise is €57. If you already run anything else from Zoho, this is the path of least resistance and you should probably take it. There is more on where that suite bends in the Zoho comparison.

What is the best open-source Pipedrive alternative?

Twenty, if a pipeline is what you want. It is the most modern-looking CRM in the open-source category, ships REST and GraphQL, and self-hosts with Docker. Cloud is $9 per user per month on Pro, $19 on Organization, and Enterprise starts at $50,000 a year. Twenty ships an MCP server on every plan; the several Twenty MCP servers you will find on GitHub are community projects rather than vendor-maintained.

Read the licence properly, because the front-page badge is half the story. Twenty's community edition is AGPL-3.0, but individual files are marked @license Enterprise and carved out under a separate commercial licence — and the pricing page shows you exactly where that line falls, because row-level permissions, SAML/OIDC SSO, encryption key rotation and audit logs are all absent from Pro and present on Organization. That is open core: a legitimate business model, and a different claim from the badge.

EspoCRM and SuiteCRM are both AGPL-3.0, mature, and belong on your shortlist. EspoCRM's carve-out is shaped differently again and worth knowing: the core is AGPL-3.0, a commercial licence is sold as the alternative to copyleft, and the Advanced Pack — reports, workflows, business process management — is a separately licensed paid extension, per installation, that you are required to uninstall if the licence lapses. Not a criticism, but a thing to learn before the renewal rather than after. I went through the whole field, licence by licence, in the open-source CRM comparison.

The test to apply to any of them takes three passes, because commercial code hides in three different places. Look for a visible enterprise/ or ee/ directory. Grep the tree for per-file licence headers, which is Twenty's pattern and the one that catches people. And check whether there is a second repository you are not allowed to see — Odoo keeps its Enterprise code in exactly that third place. Any one of the three means the licence on the front page is not the licence on the feature you need.

How do I move my data off Pipedrive?

All of it exports. Pipedrive gives you deals, persons, organisations, activities and notes, and the order you reload them in is the only thing that really matters: contacts and companies first, then pipelines and stages, then deals, then activities. Load them in that order and every foreign key resolves on the way in. Load deals first and you spend an afternoon reconciling orphans.

Into Munin that is crm_bulk_create_contacts and crm_create_company for contacts and companies, crm_create_pipeline for the stage structure, then crm_create_deal, then crm_log_activity for the history — and the same sequence runs in reverse to get back out again, because every module has a matched export pair. The HubSpot runbook walks the identical pattern command by command; the only thing that changes is the shape of the export you start from.

Two things to decide before you start rather than during. What happens to custom fields that exist in Pipedrive and nowhere else — most migrations quietly drop them and nobody notices for a quarter. And whether you are moving history or a snapshot; activities are usually the largest table you own and the one people regret leaving behind.

How is Munin different from a sales CRM?

Munin is a customer platform rather than a pipeline. CRM, conversations, knowledge base, CMS, outreach, and analytics are six modules over one Postgres database, and a customer is one row in it. Isolation between tenants is a policy on the table itself, not a WHERE orgId = clause that some future query is going to forget. The deal, the support thread, the article the prospect read twice, and the outreach sequence all resolve against the same contact. There is no nightly sync to fail quietly, because there is nothing to sync.

That changes what a single agent run can do. crm_change_deal_stage and crm_log_activity are ordinary CRM tools; the difference is that the same run can call conv_list_conversations to see why the deal went quiet, kb_search to find the answer the prospect never got, and outreach_propose_followup to draft the mail that closes the loop — one pass, one record, no integration between any of it. That is how a CRM ends up filling itself in instead of waiting for a rep to remember.

On the meter and the licence: Munin serves more than 200 MCP tools at a single endpoint, alongside a REST API and around 50 bundled skills, and that endpoint is how you operate the product rather than an add-on to it. Self-hosted there is no counter at all. On Munin Cloud the free tier is €0 with 5,000 MCP calls a month, and the paid plan, launching soon, is a flat €99 per organisation per month rather than per seat — which is what we think a seat has stopped measuring. The whole codebase is MIT: no enterprise/ directory, no commercially marked files, no feature to buy back, and every module has a matched export pair, because we would rather you could leave.

Which CRM is this for?

Munin ships no sales forecasting, no quote-to-cash with e-signatures, no territory management, and no mobile app. Pipedrive has all four, plus a marketplace of 500+ integrations.

Munin is for the team with the other complaint: a pipeline, a support inbox, a help centre, and an outreach tool each holding their own copy of one customer, and an agent that has to be granted access to all four separately. Here they are one database, reachable through one endpoint you own.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Pipedrive cost per user? Four tiers from Pipedrive's own pricing page, exclusive of VAT: Lite €14, Growth €39, Premium €59 and Ultimate €79 per seat per month billed annually, or €24, €49, €79 and €99 billed monthly. Pipedrive prices regionally, so the same numerals appear in dollars. Add-ons are extra — LeadBooster and Smart Docs from €32.50, Web Visitors from €41, Projects from €16, Campaigns from €13.33.

Is monday CRM cheaper than Pipedrive? On the sticker, yes — monday CRM Basic is €12 per seat per month billed annually against Pipedrive Lite at €14, both read from the vendors' own pages. The comparison breaks on limits rather than price: monday Basic caps you at 1,000 active contacts and deals, one custom dashboard and five columns per board, and every paid plan starts at three seats with no free tier. Pipedrive does not cap records that way.

Is there a free Pipedrive alternative? Yes, several. Zoho CRM is free forever for 3 users, Attio is free for up to 3 seats, and Munin Cloud Free is €0 with 5,000 MCP calls a month. Twenty and Munin can both be self-hosted at no licence cost — Munin under MIT throughout, Twenty under AGPL-3.0 with some files carved out under a separate commercial licence. monday CRM, Freshsales, Salesflare and Pipedrive all offer trials rather than a free tier.

Does Pipedrive work with Claude or ChatGPT? Yes. Pipedrive ships a first-party MCP server on every plan, connected by OAuth, with setup guides for both. It respects the permissions of the connecting user and records actions in the change log. Usage draws on a daily token budget set by your plan and seat count, and further tokens can be purchased from the Growth tier upward.

Does Freshsales work with Claude or ChatGPT? Through Freshworks' MCP server, yes — but check availability before you buy on the strength of it. As Freshworks documents it, the integration is in beta through an Early Access Program for selected customers on the Enterprise plan, authenticated with an API key, and capped during early access at 100 tool calls a minute and 5,000 actions a month. Freshworks notes the limits may change and may carry charges once it is generally available.

How many MCP calls do I get on Pipedrive? Pipedrive does not publish an MCP-specific allowance, but its documented daily token budget covers OAuth-authenticated traffic and is 30,000 × plan multiplier × seats — multipliers 1, 2, 5 and 7 on Lite, Growth, Premium and Ultimate. Reads cost 2 tokens, lists 20, updates 10 and searches 40, so one Lite seat is roughly 750 searches a day.

What is the best open-source Pipedrive alternative? Twenty for a modern sales pipeline, EspoCRM or SuiteCRM if you want depth and maturity, Munin if you want the whole customer relationship rather than the pipeline alone. Twenty and EspoCRM are both AGPL-3.0 with commercial carve-outs; Munin is MIT throughout and installs from one docker compose up.

Can I migrate my Pipedrive data to another CRM? Yes — deals, persons, organisations, activities and notes all export. Reload them contacts and companies first, then pipelines, then deals, then activities, so the foreign keys resolve. Into Munin that is crm_bulk_create_contacts and crm_create_company, crm_create_pipeline, crm_create_deal, then crm_log_activity, and the same sequence in reverse gets you back out.

Is Pipedrive or Munin better for a small sales team? If your team's job is moving deals through stages and you want a mature pipeline UI with forecasting and a mobile app, Pipedrive. If your two or three people also answer support, write the docs, and send the outreach, Munin puts all of that on one customer record with one flat price and one endpoint for the agent doing the paperwork.

The short version

  • Pipedrive's 2026 lineup is Lite €14, Growth €39, Premium €59 and Ultimate €79 per seat per month billed annually — €24, €49, €79 and €99 monthly, and the same numerals in dollars, since Pipedrive prices regionally rather than converting. Many comparison articles still quote the retired Essential/Advanced/Professional/Power/Enterprise sheet.
  • Add-ons are published but stack fast: LeadBooster and Smart Docs from €32.50, Web Visitors from €41, Projects from €16, Campaigns from €13.33. Growth plus two add-ons reaches €104 a seat, above Ultimate.
  • monday CRM undercuts Pipedrive on the sticker — €12 a seat annually on Basic against €14 on Lite — but caps Basic at 1,000 active contacts and deals, one dashboard and five columns per board, with a three-seat minimum and no free tier. Its MCP server is preinstalled on every account and scoped per user over OAuth.
  • Freshsales is the lowest published seat at €9 a user annually, with branded documents at €19 a user and a Freddy AI Agent at €45 per 100 sessions on top. Freshworks' MCP server is in beta through an Early Access Program on the Enterprise plan, API-key authenticated and capped at 5,000 actions a month during early access.
  • Pipedrive ships a first-party MCP server on every plan over OAuth, scoped to user permissions and logged in the change log. It is genuinely one of the better implementations in the category.
  • The allowance behind it is a daily token budget of 30,000 × plan multiplier × seats, with multipliers 1, 2, 5 and 7. A search costs 40 tokens, so a single Lite seat is about 750 searches a day, shared across every integration on the account.
  • Zoho CRM is free for 3 users and cheaper at every tier; Zoho CRM Plus bundles sales, service, marketing and projects from €20 per user per month.
  • Twenty is the open-source pipeline — $9 a user on Pro, free self-hosted — with row-level permissions, SSO, key rotation and audit logs behind an @license Enterprise carve-out on Organization.
  • Munin puts CRM, conversations, knowledge, content, outreach and analytics on one customer record under MIT, with more than 200 MCP tools at one endpoint and no per-action meter, €0 on Cloud Free, and a flat €99 per organisation on the paid plan, which is launching soon.

If your job is deals in stages and Pipedrive is doing it well, stay — it is the best-focused pipeline in the category. If the pipeline turned out to be one of four places your customer lives, Munin Cloud starts at nothing, and the repository is MIT if you would rather run it yourself.

Pipedrive manages your pipeline beautifully. The customer was never only in the pipeline.
